‘I am thoroughly enjoying having Emily as a PT for my husband & I – each session is different and we never know what to expect…. except that it gets increasingly harder! Having said that, no session has pushed us beyond our capability and this is what I enjoy – we know we’ve had a work out but aren’t so stiff the next day that we can’t move. Emily manages to tailor each ‘double’ session so that Gavin & I work on our own individual areas that need improving. I actually look forward to each session and the fitness improvement that it brings. I think Emily will be stuck with us for the foreseeable future!!’
‘I have a wonderful Grandson, Zach aged 25 now, who has Special needs with an acquired Brain Injury and is also on the Autism Spectrum. Because of these problems he has to keep stimulated and fit. I asked Emily if she would meet Zach and see how she could help him which of course she did. With her witty but firm approach to Zach, he has lost weight and is a lot fitter than he was. Zach has 2 sessions a week with Emily and they have a good laugh, particularly over his quirky socks! As I said, she is firm as Zach would quite easily chat instead of working, but she is very aware of his needs and keeps him motivated with various challenges each week. Without Emily’s help, Zach would be an overweight, couch potato so we take our hat’s off to her for her determination with getting Zach fit. I would recommend Emily to anyone.’

‘Having really only played at improving my fitness and strength over the last two years; it wasn’t until I began Personal Training sessions with Emily did I realise how important a planned and comprehensive workout is! The sessions are always varied and designed to empower me to work on areas of fitness l would never attempt on my own in the gym.
I am a lady of advancing years and have really appreciated Emily’s kind, but firm approach to the sessions. I began working in earnest with Emily in September 2018 and have noticed real changes in my physique. My shape is returning, l am much stronger and no longer have to ask my husband to lift the pots in the garden! My weight is slowly reducing. I’ve learnt that achieving long lasting fitness takes time.
Emily never lets me give up, her constant encouragement spurs me on to achieve physical goals l never thought possible. You should see me lift weights! ‘I chose Emily to assist with my rehabilitation as I wanted a change of regime from my specialist neuro physiotherapist in the hope a personal trainer would bring a different, more challenging programme. Her unfailingly cheerful and supportive approach, coupled with varied targeted exercises helps to maintain my motivation.
I would recommend Emily to anyone who’s looking for personal training sessions, whatever you’re end goal. I have never been someone who goes to the gym as I’ve always found it a relatively intimidating environment but as I decided to join the forces I realised I needed to get training and as I had no idea where to start I felt that a personal trainer would be beneficial and leave me no room for excuses. I was apprehensive at first but after my first session I was already looking forward to the next. Emily made me feel so comfortable from the start and was so easy to get along with, she asked my personal goals and did a programme tailored to that. Considering I couldn’t run a minute without dying when I first met Emily, I have now passed my PJFT in a just short period of time and feel a lot more confident in myself and that’s down to Emily for being constantly motivating and having a positive ‘can do’ mentality, that genuinely rubs off on you! She is very knowledgeable about how to train effectively and makes sessions varied and interesting for you. I now look forward to the gym and always feel better. I class Emily as a friend now and will definitely be carrying on my sessions with her and setting new goals and having more laughs! Thanks Emily!
I have worked on and off with Emily since April as due to health conditions, my muscle tone was practically non-existent. It was hard work and I think I would have given up had it not been for Emily’s encouragement. She motivated me and pushed me to achieve goals I didn’t think I could do. She made me feel comfortable and the sessions were fun. I will definitely work with her again as my strength and muscle mass have greatly improved and I have lost 10 inches all over.
